How Does Manifestation Work?

Body: Your thoughts can change the nature of your reality.

Depending on what you believe about yourself and the world, life can look wildly different. And this isn’t just about getting a promotion or landing a better job.

It’s about radical shifts.

People heal terminal diseases with their minds.

They get wildly rich.

They invent things that reshape the world.

So how can you make this “magic” mechanism work in your favor?

I had this exact conversation yesterday with a friend.

He asked me what I thought about the logic behind manifestation. My answer, of course, ties into psychology.

Here’s how I see it.

How beliefs shape perception

Your beliefs and core values dictate how you see the world.

Let me give you a practical example:

If you’re a mechanic and walk into a garage full of tools, your brain automatically starts mapping how those tools can help you fix a car.

I, on the other hand, would just see a pile of irrelevant objects. Maybe useful, but completely disconnected.

Now flip the scenario.

If that same mechanic opens a marketing email, he’ll just read the content.

I’ll see an entire constellation of elements:

The structure. The hook. The pain points.

Signs of AI.

The CTA.

Storytelling tricks.

Urgency cues.

We both live in the same world, but we don’t see the same world.

Our values, past experiences, and beliefs filter reality.

But what does that have to do with success?

“Alright, Seb, but seeing some tools as useful doesn’t make you a millionaire.”

Fair.

It doesn’t heal disease either.

So what are we even talking about?

Let’s go deeper.

Identity is the operating system

Beliefs about tools are surface-level.

But beliefs about yourself run deep.

If you believe you’re lucky, capable, and confident, how do you think you’ll approach the world?

You’ll take shots.

You’ll be unreasonably optimistic.

You’ll make the most of even the worst days.

Every challenge becomes proof of who you are.

That’s how belief becomes reality.

But belief is not enough

You have to act on your beliefs.

Action is the second ingredient of manifestation, one that’s often left out. People try to project themselves into success through fantasizing.

It doesn’t work like that. You have to align your entire being with your beliefs.

Then God or the universe inevitably responds with luck.

When you act as if your beliefs are real, life starts treating them that way, too.

You can manifest failure just as easily

If you constantly obsess over your flaws, your stupidity, your inability to succeed, that becomes your filter.

And if you discipline yourself to act on those beliefs?

You’ll sabotage everything before it begins, slowly wearing down your spirit and the dreams that keep you alive and well.

And the brutal truth?

You wished it.

Not consciously. Not intentionally.

But through repetition and reinforcement, you built your own cage.

I’m not saying every tragedy is self-made.

Of course not.

Life is full of pain. Tragedies happen for no apparent reason.

But if there’s one thing you can control, it’s how much of that pain comes from your own hand.

And how much “luck” you’re in a position to receive.

Healing disease with your mind

Now let me tell you something personal.

If you’ve been here a while, you probably know this story.

But if not, here’s the short version.

When I turned 18, my health fell apart.

I developed a severe case of TMJ that led to full-body inflammation.

I became hypersensitive to light, sound, and solid food. Over the next three years, it got worse.

Doctors didn’t know what to do.

Treatments barely helped.

I kept telling myself I would heal, even though some days I didn’t believe it. Some days, I thought this nightmare would last forever. But I still visualized. I still hoped.

Even when it made no sense to.

The turning point

One day, I was desperate enough to try something else.

I went to a neurologist, hoping for real answers.

She was horrified.

I was 21 at the time.

She couldn’t believe how many layers of dysfunction had piled up in my system.

She didn’t give me a diagnosis.

Just a referral to a therapist to help me cope with the emotional toll. I left her office feeling worse than ever.

Hopeless.

But that day felt… different.

Like something in the air shifted.

I can’t explain it. You could feel the tension like the moment before a storm.

That night, something changed.

The moment of belief

I had visualized healing hundreds of times before.

But always with doubt in the background.

This time was different. I believed it. Fully.

Like when you press your hand to a table and know it’s real, solid, unshakable.

I believed I would wake up healed.

Not hoped. Not imagined.

Believed.

And I did.

At 4 AM, I woke up with this inner knowing — the inflammation, the sound sensitivity, the pain — all gone.

Like a curse had lifted.

I went back to sleep smiling.

The next day, I was healed.

What actually happened?

I don’t know.

Maybe the treatment finally kicked in.

Maybe it was God.

Maybe it was the mind-body connection doing what science hasn’t caught up to yet.

All I know is that I lived it.

And it changed everything.

I don’t claim that manifestation cured me.

But I do believe this:

Your mind plays a role in everything.

And when thoughts, emotions, actions, and beliefs align, the impossible starts to feel possible.

So to recap

If you want a better life or any wish for any sort of outcome, make sure to visualize it as clearly as possible, as much as possible.

Starting your morning and ending your day with it is a good practice to ground yourself and remind your whole being what your mission is.

Besides this, you should make a clear-cut plan with the exact decisions and actions you have to take to accomplish the vision.

As you go on and pursue the vision, what you need to do and not to do will become increasingly clear.

Stumbling toward the light of your choosing will make sure of it.
